Brooklyn Lee (born June 1, 1989) is the stage name of an American pornographic actress.[1][4]
Early life
Lee is of mixed ethnic origin - Puerto Rican, Swedish and Indian.[1] She grew up in Ohio, but spent some of her life in Puerto Rico, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York and Windsor (Ontario, Canada).[2]
She worked first as a waitress, and later as a stripper.[2]
Career in the adult industry
Brooklyn Lee debuted in the adult industry in 2010, started around 21 years old.[1][4] That same year she signed a contract with L.A. Direct Models to represent her in the industry.[3]
In early November 2011 Brooklyn Lee signed with Spiegler Girls for exclusive representation.[5]
That same year, she starred in the porn parody of the film "Revenge of the Nerds". Cast members from the original film announces approval of her parody role.[6][7]
In 2012 Lee won AVN Award for Best Oral Sex Scene (with Juelz Ventura for film "American Cocksucking Sluts") and XRCO Award for Orgasmic Oralist. She told for XBIZ: "I got an award for dick sucking. My second one this year, so I'm pretty excited. I'm pretty sure of my BJ skills at this point."[8]
In 2013 Lee won four AVN Awards for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, Best Anal Sex Scene, Best Three-Way Sex Scene (G/G/B) and Most Outrageous Sex Scene. She also was nominated for Female Performer of the Year and Best Actress. In same year Brooklyn Lee won XBIZ Award for Female Performer of the Year[2] and XRCO Awards for Orgasmic Oralist and Superslut.[4]
Lee was placed on Penthouse magazine's "Dirty Dozen" list in their November 2013 issue.[9] In the same year she was also included in CNBC's list of "The Dirty Dozen: Porn's Biggest Stars".[6]
Tabitha Stevens has said of Lee: "Brooklyn is not only super sexy and an absolute pleasure to work with, but she can also act. Nowadays, it's hard to find a girl with that package ... Brooklyn is that total package."[4]
She is also a feature dancer at major strip clubs in United States.[6]
Brooklyn Lee announced her retirement May 1, 2013, on AdultDVDTalk. In her post, she said, "Also, yes, I have retired. Off to other things and greener pastures. It's time for me to focus on the bigger picture; my education. Just going to school & being me. All is well...the adult industry is simply no longer a place I belong or wish to be." [4]
Lee said also: "I take with me many fond memories and unique experiences; I wish the very best to my friends that remain in adult. I came, I saw, I conquered...and now I'm done."[4]
Brooklyn Lee told for AVN that she's returning to school to pursue a professional degree.[4]
Mainstream appearances
Brooklyn Lee appeared in Pink's music video for "Raise Your Glass" in 2010.[4][6] She also is featured in the mainstream documentary "Aroused", directed by celebrity photographer Deborah Anderson.[4]
