5. People might mean well but changing text from other authors stylistically often doesn't improve the articles at all - on the contrary.

 

 

Usually, it's helpful to create new articles, add new text to an existing article, or remove red links to movie articles that don't exist - this can be easily done with a [[User:Till Kraemer/script-redlinks.js|script]].

For references, please use the [[Template:Reference AVS|Reference AVS]] template. Please enter the complete URL and the title of the link, like this: <code><nowiki>{{Reference AVS|https://www.domainwithexplicitcontent.com/|Official website of Explicit Content}}</nowiki></code>. This will just insert the link with the title, the rest of the reference like the tag should be as provided as usual.

To create a new page please enter the name of the topic into the search box and you'll be prompted to "create this page". Just click the red link.

 

For articles about actors, you can use this [[Pornopedia:Style sheet actor|style sheet]], for films you can use [[Pornopedia:Style sheet film|this one]].

 

Please double-check if you typed in the name of the topic correctly. If you submit movie titles please use "[[Back to the Roots]]" instead of "Back To The Roots", see [[Pornopedia:Titles]].  

Please don't submit links to pages containing explicit content in the free area (i.e. on the tour pages), or use [[#AVS|AVS templates]].

Please do not mention the birth names of performers unless they are absolutely cool with it. In that case, please provide a source. If in doubt, do not publish such sensitive information. Actors use stage names for a reason. Respect their privacy and don't give any stalkers anything to work with.

If you want to translate an article, a tool like [https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Notepad++] can be helpful. It can replace multiple phrases at once like "<nowiki>[[Pornodarsteller]]in</nowiki>" for "<nowiki>[[Porn actor|porn actress]]</nowiki>" and "(Erscheinungsdatum)" for "(release date)" and it even can translate whole infoboxes. You can do this by creating a macro. Be careful though and check the result before you copy it into the new article.

If you translate an article from another Pornopedia language version, please mention it somehow in the edit summary like <code>Article is based on <nowiki>[[:de:Victoria Sunshine|Victoria Sunshine]]</nowiki></code> to credit the author(s) of the original article.
