Activism

On June 20, 2017 Xhamster started providing visitors to the gay channel from Indonesia with a pop-up alerting about the government actions against the Indonesian gay community and directing them to resources about legal aid and refugee resettlement programs. [2][3] Following the allegations of sexual misconduct against the American film producer Harvey Weinstein on November 16, 2017 Xhamster encouraged sex workers to denounce episodes of sexual misconduct in the sex industry using its platform.[4][5]
