Coupé is a German men's magazine, which is published since 1988 in Germany. It was first published by Klaus Helbert Verlag in Wiesbaden. Meanwhile, it is published by Heinrich Bauer Publishing and has been produced until September 2008 by the subsidiary company Inter Publish GmbH. The editorial staff was then in Hamburg-Harburg, Germany, where until 2006 Blitz Illu, Das neue Wochenend, Praline and Piep also were produced.
Since issue 10/08 the magazine is editorially supervised by the company Qpe Publishing Ltd. which is located in Hamburg Altona. Chief editor and CEO is Michael Graul.
Coupé is published monthly (every last Friday of the month). The price of 3.10 euros, has been raised to 3.30 euros as of issue 10/08. The contents are sports, documentary subjects, cars and eroticism. The target group are men aged 18 to 39 years.
In 1988, when the first Coupé issue has been published in the Klaus Helbert Verlag, the magazine was focusing on profession, career and feature topics. In the following issues subjects like traveling, music, celebrities and erotic were added. more
