::: Hi Sipzz, Pornopedia is independent from Wikimedia. We don't use Commons, because we want to stay as independent as possible and it is not sure that the author of a certain image at Commons is okay with having his picture shown in an erotic context like Pornopedia. Instead, we ask the studios, actors and photographers (like [[Glenn Francis]]) directly for permission and upload their images to our [http://pool.pornopedia.net/wiki/Special:ListFiles Pool]. Many files are still missing, but I'll add more files next week. --[[User:Till Kraemer|Till Kraemer]] 18:51, 30 November 2011 (CET)

Date format for born category

I think we should use the date format which is more common, therefore Day|Month|Year, look here, or not? -- Kenji 17:39, 16 May 2011 (CEST)

I don't know. I like the way IMDb does it and since we will add more language versions to Pornopedia, each language/country will have it's own date format one day. Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 20:11, 16 May 2011 (CEST)
...the English Wikipedia also seem to use that kind of format and though that's not the best argument, people seem to be ok there with the month/day/year scheme. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 23:21, 16 May 2011 (CEST)

Pornopedia in Portuguese

It would be possible to create a Pornopedia in Portuguese? If so, how could I help?

Great idea! I'm gonna set up a Portuguese version this weekend and I'll let you know, when it's online. Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 20:07, 31 August 2011 (CEST)
Thanks for the support
The Portuguese Pornopedia is online. Got to setup some templates and other stuff though. Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 11:47, 4 September 2011 (CEST)
I've set up the necessary templates. Unfortunately you have to sign up for a new account on the Portuguese version, since unified login doesn't work perfectly yet :| Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 13:48, 24 October 2011 (CEST)

Dynamic Page List

is it possible for we to use Dynamic Page List (DPL)? I think that makes much easier to create Filmography lists and such.

I'm not sure if it's the best way in the long run: They say it is only recommended for small and medium size wikis. I didn't work with DPL before, but if I understand it correctly, for a filmography we need to create the movie articles first, put them into categories named by all the actors starring in the movies and then we can fetch the movies by actor and include them automatically into the filmography. Right now, we create the actor's articles first and then we click the red link to a new movie article and check which actors link to the article and include them in the cast section of the movie. We do that because we think it's more important to have the actors' articles first and then we create the movies, but I'm not sure, which way is the easiest. The German Pornopedia has already many filmographies (like de:Jesse Jane#Filmografie, click "Anzeigen") which can be very easily translated with tools like wReplace. I don't know, I have to think about it... Thanks + cheers, --Till Kraemer 18:28, 1 September 2011 (CEST)
I don't know either, but whatever you decide its ok. Thanks for the attention.
I really appreciate your suggestion! I'm still thinking about DPL. I see one little problem though: Some actors change their name over the years. KimKimDe is now called Kim Santoz, Jana Bach is now Jana B. and so on. In those cases we would have to change all movie pages of them while with the current system we only have to create one redirect page. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 21:18, 1 September 2011 (CEST)
At first the idea seemed to be good but in fact you're right. Once again thanks for the feedback. --Kain Kevandish 01:49, 2 September 2011 (CEST)

Pornopedia in Swedish?

Hi, I am new here. A short presentation of me, I don't have so much interest to write and edit in English. My reason for my account is to include a desire to start a Swedish language version of the page. I am very familiar with Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, and found your site interesting and became interested to getting this in Swedish. Is it possible to set up a Swedish version? :) //Sipzz 18:15, 29 November 2011 (CET)

Hi Sipzz, welcome to Pornopedia and thanks for your suggestion! I will set up a Swedish version next Sunday and I'll let you know, when it's online. Cheers, --Till Kraemer 18:50, 29 November 2011 (CET)
Hi, thank you. Great, then I will check it to the weekend. A question, what kind of connection does Pornopedia has to other Wikisites and Wikimedia? For an example, does it works to use the files on Wikimedia Comons at Pornopedia? //Sipzz 20:29, 29 November 2011 (CET)
