Cuddling is a form of physical intimacy, an exchanging of caresses between two partners which can include kissing, stroking, prolonged hugging etc. It is mostly practiced after or before sex. Spooning is a form of cuddling.
For many women, cuddling is an important part of an erotic encounter, whilst men stereotypically do not make it a high priority. In general porn produced for men reflects this attitude.
