Long was born in Mariupol, Ukraine.[1] She is of Russian descent.[4] Between the ages of 7 and 14, she lived in Surgut, Siberia, Russia.[6] She spent 10 years doing runway and fashion modeling in Europe and Asia under her real name, Anzhelika Yakimenko.[5] She has also used the stage name Lika Lubov.[7] Lika is short for Anzhelika and Lubov is Russian for love.[7]

Personal life
Long became an American citizen in 2012.[8] She lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her husband, Rick, and their daughter, Aleksandra.[9]
