Jack Galardi opened the Crazy Horse Saloon in Forest Park in 1993.[1] On December 1, 2006, two 19-year-old strippers and a 24-year-old man left the club together and were followed by man, who stopped their car and shot them.[2] One of the strippers, who was four months pregnant, and the man accompanying them died.[2] According to police, the perpetrator was upset that the women went to work at the club instead of celebrating his 22nd birthday with him at a restaurant on November 30.[2] Early morning on June 24, 2007, a shootout between members of rival motorcycle gangs in the club's parking lot resulted in one death and two injuries.[3] In the fall of 2008, the club reopened at a new location one door away and threatened to sue the city if they allowed Tops Showbar to operate at their previous location.[4]
