Directoral Changes
The early Barely Legal series was very strongly associated with Clive McLean. He wrote and directed the majority of the scenes in the series, and his name often appeared on the cover of video releases. Clive McLean died in 2005. After his passing his widow Erica McLean directed several Barely Legal releases. Erica had been involved since the beginning of the series, being credited for Make-Up and Styling on the first videos. The first release with Erica's name on the cover was Barely Legal 53 in november 2005, the last was Barely Legal: Girlz Rule released in March 2010.

Matti Klatt directed Barely Legal 95 til 108.

Otto Bauer directed Barely Legal 109 til 153.

From 2018s Barely Legal 159: Bratty Step Sisters until Barely Legal 183: BFFs in 2021 the main director of the Barely Legal series was B. Skow. Since then a variety of directors have lead the series, without a new 'era' being established.
