Shyla Stylez (September 23, 1982 - November 10, 2017) was a Canadian erotic dancer adult model and pornographic actress.
Early life
Shyla Stylez was born on September 23, 1982 in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada.[1] At 17 she saw her first pornographic film and decided to become a pornographic actress.[2][3]
Career
After graduating from high school Stylez moved from Armstrong to Vancouver where she started adult modeling and erotic dancing on webcam for pornographic websites.[2] In 2000 following her encounter with the pornographic actor Eric Everhard she moved to Los Angeles to start the pornographic acting career.[2] She acted in 541 pornographic films from 2000 to her death.[1]
Personal life
Stylez's favourite musician was Eddie Vedder from the American music band Pearl Jam.[3] On October 23rd, 2002 she married the American production company Jill Kelly Productions chairman Bob Friedland at the Beverly Hills Courthouse.[4] In January 2003 the couple legally separated.[5] After the separation Bob Friendland expressed the intention of filing for the annulment of the marriage on the basis of fraud.[5] In 2003 she had multiple sexual encounters with the Orange County assistant-sheriff George Jaramillo.[6] On November 10, 2017 she died of undisclosed causes at the age of 35.[7][8] After Stylez's death the pornographic actress Tia Cyrus raised $3,350 in a crowdfunding campaign to pay Stylez’s medical care and funeral service.[9][10]
